Julian passed away peacefully at the Midford Manor Care Home, a couple of miles from Monkton Combe where he lived the majority of his 81 years.  His funeral will be held at Bath Abbey on the 18th September 2024 at 3 pm  If you are able to attend please complete the form below so that we provide a suitable amount of refreshments after the service. It would be very helpful if you could do this by Friday 6th September.

Julian was very much against ‘gloomy’ funerals and we are celebrating his extraordinary life as well as mourning his departure.  As such he has requested that attendees dress ‘brightly’ and comfortably.  Rowing folk are encouraged to dress for the Henley Royal Regatta!
